Preparation:
- Note: Fill nail holes, cracks and other defects with Cabot's Wood Tone Putty after applying the first coat of this product for accurate colour matching.
- Remove stains, dirt, wax, grease and oil with mineral turpentine.
- Remove any polish with a suitable polish remover.
Application:
- Before spraying, shake can well for about 1 minute, ensure the mixing ball is moving vigorously inside the can.
- Hold can approximately 20cm away from the surface. Apply light coats with a quick even motion, beginning and ending each stroke beyond the surface being sprayed until the desired finish is achieved.
Note: For exterior timber a minimum of 4 coats is recommended, depending on porosity of timber. Clear the nozzle after each use by turning the can upside down and spray for several seconds.
